Keeping it Frugal...

Really its also based on driving habits. I did this math with the Lexus rx450h vs standard. The hybrid is 6k more. With my driving habits, it would take 14 years to break even. That's with an average savings of 350-400 in gas a year. By that time the battery could go bad and I would never break even.
