Getting my racing feet wet - February 17, 2019, 06:04 PM

Would appreciate some advice:

I'm currently eligible for my racing license and am looking to get into the sport this year. Don't have any goals of winning off the bat, just want to get acclimated to competition-level riding and sharpen my skills.

Am strongly considering the 300cc class but obviuously have the Ducati 748 with all the modifications one could ask for. Was thinking to do a few races in its respective class then later pull the trigger on a 300cc bike.

Not afraid to use it since I've crashed it a few times lol.

Is that a reasonable approach?
