I was never really a true squid on the road, but my pave has definitely been a lot slower since I started doing g track days back in 2015. In this case I was just a boring commuter. I still take the Monkey out on joy rides, but I rarely just go out for fun on another bike. There are just so many advantages to commuting and getting around on a bike to ignore it. Hopefully a switch hasn't been thrown in my head to prevent me from enjoying it.

The doctor said he wants to wait another week before looking into a skin graft. My wound is deep, but not that big. He was surprised they didn't refer me to an orthopedic specialist as well since my knee is also sore. Swelling isn't that bad though, so it's more wait and see.
