Followed up with the plastic surgeon this morning. He said I'm healing well, but I'll need a skin graft to maintain mobility. Swelling of my knee is down, but he wants me to get an MRI to ensure everything inside is good before he does the graft. Getting an MRI in a reasonable amount of time is a real chore thanks to insurance getting in the way. Dealing with insurance is about as bad as the injury itself.
