Motorcycle accident on River Rd - 03/17 - March 17, 2012, 05:23 PM

Heading east on River Rd. just before Swains Lock Rd. traffic was stopped for a cruiser on its side. A bunch of bikes had stopped, tending to the rider when I arrived. Rider was laying in the road as folks were trying to care of him.

Prayers to the rider's wellbeing and recovery.

Anyone know what happened?

Yeah. Prayers for a full recovery. The scene didnt look good, couldnt see any movement from the rider. Hopefully, it was just because people were telling him not to move until the paramedics got there.

I cannot necessarily blame them yet. They're not expecting to be on the lookout for motorcycles this early.

I had an encounter with a sport bike earlier this week. Darted into a lane I was about to move into but came out of nowhere. Had I not seen the headlight shake out the corner of my eye in the side mirror, I would have slammed the door on him.

Seems like not enough info in the OP to point fingers at cars as the cause of the accident.
