Just giving some info on the roads around Sterling Thru to Purceville. I was on route 7 from 3am to 4:30am and it was cleaned and in good shape. However getting to it was a major bitch. I have 32 inch Goodyear M/T tires which are a very aggresive tread and I needed it just to get out. Were the plows have come thru there is a 4 to 5 foot mound blocking the side street to main streets. I would not even think about going out in my 4Runner and I have 30's on it with a mild tread but it does not dig so therefore it does not want to move. If you go out be prepared to get stuck and either walk or stay in your car and live. Also do not walk in the middle of the main roads like some idiot did at 3:30 am and I almost ran that person over. Dumbass move of the day on that person. Just be safe out there.

Well here in alexandria I walked around a bit and there side streets are not plowed very well, or the snow is coming down hard enough it doesnt matter.

So if you dont have 4x4 dont hit up alexandria even the main road isnt that good.

I would like to thank 24 years of Yoga (3 years power Yoga), 14 years of bicycling, 10 years of spin and 5 months of Pilaties for giving me the strenth and endurance with a stron heart and back to shovel 4 yards, 2 cars and getting my truck unstuck 2 times.

I feel gooooooood...
strong and hyped...

This snow shit is such a good way to pratice breathing techniques and good back posture for lifting heavy snow.

lol come on mang...
I knew i was going to get stuck the first time because I always do.

At the end of my alley there is a deep Dip b4 you turn onto the street and between the Dip and the snow piled up to my hood I knew it wasnt going to make it like every year. I was just hoping i could just go as far forward as I can then back up and dig the rest. but the back got lifted also.

I got myself dug out in about 5 to 8 minutes then continued on my quest to plow/make tracks thru my alley to the streets.

Now what happend in the streets was stupid... i back into the 5 foot pile of snow sideways and got stuck.. took about the samw amount of time to break free then drove up and down the alley to make tracks.

A few of my neighbors look forward to me making tracks in the alley so they can get out.

i used to go to yoga class too. but apparently its frowned upon to bring a bottle of hand lotion with you to the class and just watch instead of participate.
