66 Inside Beltway Salted 12/1/2010 - December 1, 2010, 03:46 PM

Just a heads up, they salted 66 starting around the beltway all the way to the glebe rd exit. Its kinda piling up on the sides of the road and you can hear it being kicked up on your car, so I imagine you could feel it on a bike.

I guess it was a preventative measure but we are north of 40 degrees so it seems a bit premature.

Yeah I noticed salt on the ramps early Thanksgiving week and then parts throughout the end of the month...today ALL of 95 and 395 was covered.

VA finally catching up with the other parts of the US that salt the roads BEFORE it snows so when it hits it melts on contact...not after it snows and they plow lol....

lol and it's still FALL by the way.

What do you value more? Life or Image?
