Centreville to Harrisonburg best way? - April 12, 2007, 02:19 PM

I am going to be going to harrison burg from centreville, and was thinking about taking 211 and or 33, are there backroads that connect them? Does anyone have any nicer routes? Thanks to all

Yellow im gonna be rude. Go buy a map called The Virginia Gazzeteer at Boarders or Barnes and Noble. Follow the squigly lines to your destination. That is all

stupid link! i spent all that time drawing lines and shit and it didn't save! damnit.

Ok, well, take Crest Hill Road or Carter's Run. Hume Road is good, Fiery Run is good.

I think that everyone knows how to get to harrisonburg. He's asking a way to get there following that whatever trail that follows 81. It's a great set of roads that takes you thru all kinds of good turns.

If you want a good ride that meets your peramiters (sp) take the back roads in loudon till you hit 81. Then take 81 till you see and exit for some trail. Then take it. It always meets back up with 81 every so ofter.

I've run up and down 211/42/33 to and from H'burg tons. Good times. Just watch out for the Po on 211 on both mountains, they like to snatch up bikers.
