Dangerous hole - O'Donnell St, Balto City - October 20, 2008, 09:42 AM

Just a heads up to anyone in the Canton/Dundalk/Highlandtown area of Balto City, coming onto O'Donnel Street WEST last night offa 895, there is a downhill section near the Royal Farms that has a HUGE drop/hole where a sewer greate is in the middle of the lane, I friggin was airborne for a few seconds, watch out. its as you come down one of the little hills, way before Boh Towers and the main area of Canton, middle lane, close by the Royal Farms right there. I almost wrecked big time. Might I also add that Southeast Baltimore is the worst roads for riding, but that hole is #1 in my book. be careful guys, especially anyone coming to O'Donnel Square or Fells from 895.

The best off roading I've ever done was on the streets of East Baltimore.

Ah, like going through my old hood Highlandtown down through Greektown and to Dundalk...yeah that road is terrible, not to mention to low quality drivers that seem to inhabit it, turning right in front of you all the time. I'd say Pulaski is worse than Eastern, and East fayette is probably the worst to ride on. I did hit some grooved pavement for the first time in Annapolis last night though, and I'd take mad potholes over that crap anyday.
