Holy F*cking Wind Batman! - February 18, 2011, 05:53 PM

Wow, 60mph gusts of wind. Let's just say my commute home was exciting. Nearly got tipped over just waiting at a light. Almost dropped the bike in a turn because I got startled after a gust blew sand/salt right at me..it's like a fucking desert storm out here...it's rapping yo wife, you kids, yo husbands!

Apparently this is supposed to go on through tomorrow afternoon.

Sounds like a Harrier jet is outside my house! Enough with this wind already!

The wind was crazy. That and the usual idiot Friday night drivers made it an interesting ride back from Adams Morgan.

Just got in from work. I thought the breeze felt kind of nice on the ride home.

Well that would make sense since your name is windblown.

That's one reason why I hate unseasonably warm weather in the wrong season. I know a cold front is just around the corner and it never comes in gently. It usually comes in hard and swift with some pretty hellish winds.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

I'm okay with it.
If you have the skill and experience and are prepared it's no big deal.
