MD - veirs mill and 495 NOVA exit - October 20, 2009, 09:03 AM

Stay the hell off of veirs mill through Twinbrook and north wheaton. TRAILS of gravel, muiltiple potholes, uneven pavement, grooved pavement, pretty much un rideable even on a motard. Like, serious Mad Max shiz.Don't even try to go on it, take 355 instead. Dunno if it extends into deeper Wheaton/Silver spring but trust me ya don't wanna test it.

495 from MD into NOVA- grooved, uneven pavement in right/merge lane, with no signs until you're actually riding on the grooved pavment (good job VA/MD DOT). 2 inch bump to get into non-grooved lane, almost took me down since it was nightime. If your heading from MD into NOVA on 495, be careful.
