old route 55 by moorefield, wv - March 21, 2010, 04:28 PM

don't waste your time going out to old route 55 by moorefield, it's covered in gravel in all the fun spots. it'll probably take months (years?) for it to clear since there's hardly any traffic on that road any more.

It was like that at the end of last season. It had a ton of the very fine black gravel rocks everywhere. Its the SUX

It's always one of the last roads to clear off, probably due to lack of traffic. Even then most of last year if at all, the top portion where the turns tighten up was unridable at any thing other than a crawl and only worth the trouble if you were trying to get to the roads around Moorefield, WV, we usually just made a left at Baker, WV onto Route 29 or whatever the road is.
