Be especially careful on the way home today. There have been loads of crashes throughout the day. Favorite place to crash have been the Dulles Toll Road, Rt50 in VA, R66, 95, 395, and 495. Basically all the major roads. Lots of cars spinning out.

Yeah thanks Travis....I knew as soon as I walked outside this morning my commute was going to suck.

People's common sense goes right down the drain with rain.

There's something about this area...I've driven rush hour in Cali, NYC, been driven in Europe, and various other parts and nothing comes close to the poor driving of this area. It's like people around here are fine until they get into a car...then their brains just

This morning coming in a guy in a large pick-up truck was driving in a straight line and next thing I know he nearly spins out...nothing was in front or around him???? I mean WTF!

Be safe out there...

There was a big one this morning on I-81 too, and one slightly further south.

People are spinning so much because the road is so slick now that we haven't had any real rain for so long. All that oil = slippy slidey.

I had a pretty crazy two-wheeled slide yesterday on the 'tard since it was so slick. Definitely a stern reminder.

Be safe.

Right up the 1 hole.

Agreed. I have lived in quite a few places and this area takes the cake for stupid drivers. I thought Phoenix and LA were bad.

You should see how people drive in GA when it rains. I will take VA drivers over GA drivers anyday when it comes to how people drive in bad weather.

Yep. I didn't mind it. At least everyone was going the speed limit+.
People here are brake happy. How many time have I been riding or driving down the road. There is one car in front of me. All the sudden I see brake lights for no reason.

Plus no one here knows how to use a blinker (ok ok I shouldn't say no one..I'll say a vast majority)

Not to mention people love to just chill in the left lane here. WTF?In PA, CA, AZ, NV and NC you can get a ticket for just chillin in the lft lane. The republic of VA allows it?
