Rt. 733 - Lime Kiln Rd. (Gravel from Construction Site) - July 20, 2007, 08:50 PM

This afternoon, I had a chance to check out one of my fav "sweeping S" roads, Lime Kiln Rd. Unfortunately, only about a mile from Rt. 15, I ran into some nasty gravel run off from a contruction site in the area...

The four large dump trucks coming down the hill and turning South on Lime Kiln were a good clue.. =)

Gravel is about an inch + thick all the way across the road, PLEASE slow down and tread lightly ..

Otherwise, with exception of a few patches of small amount of gravel in some of the obvious places, Lime Kiln was a pleasure to ride...

After going North on Lime Kiln and you decide to go North on Snickerville, you'll hit the mandatory detour, which if you take it to its end and when you get to St. Louis Rd, a nice scenic road!

Ride SAFE! Sebastian
