Yea 193 Georgetown pike exit 44. Takes you to route 7, 3 miles east of Sterling.

that's funny..I live on Georgia Ave in DC - 2 miles south of Down Town Silver Spring and I work in Sterling also...I usually just take rock creek to 66 to toll(express fcuk paying toll) road. On the way home I take toll rd to McLean(Dolly Madison) to GW parkway - come around to 395 and home to DC...This is how I avoid all the major traffic - it takes me 35 minutes each way.

white ferry is ok but the cars just ruin it...the roads just begs to be speeded on.
