I'm not sure if it is just the intersection at Rt15 or something to do with the unpaved portion of Sycolin leaving some nasty crap on my tires.

But I pulled on the Rt15, got on the gas and experienced the worst near highside ever. My bike was nearly perpendicular to the direction of travel and I got tossed up and thrown about. I don't know how I didn't crash. At least there would've been a firetruck on the scene in a matter of seconds. They were sitting at the light waiting to turn northbound onto Sycolin. It was so violent that I have an abrasion on the inner side of my knee.

Just recently (2-4 weeks?) they sprayed a light oil on the unpaved portion to keep the dust down...that may have been the problem. On top of that, the recent rain may have floated it more to the surface.

I just got done washing the bike after I noticed drops to dirty, oily water that looked like a light grease on the floor of my garage. Scrubbed the tires good with Simple Green. The road does not scrub this crap off well.
