The May/June 2003 issue of Motorcycle Times Magazine has an article (on page 56) by Robert Miller, where he offers his ideas on the 10 best roads in West Virginia.

According to the article, they are:
10. US Route 50, from the VA border near the Capon Bridge to Bridgeport. (150 miles)

9. WV4, paralleling the Elk River between Clendenin & Gassaway. (65 miles)

8. WV36 between Spencer and Maysel. (40 miles)

7. WV3 between West Hamlin and Beckley. (200 miles)

6. WV20 between New Martinsville and Bluefield. (260 miles)

5. WV10 between Huntington & Princeton. (150 miles)

4. WV39 between Warm Springs, VA & Summersville (100 miles)

3. WV7 & 9 between Charles Town & New Martinsville. (250 miles)

2. WV28 between Ridgely & Huntersville. (175 miles)

1. WV150 between Cranberry Glades & Edra (20 miles)
