So my track bike isn't turning over (yes, there is gas in it). The battery is fine, the starter sounds like its trying, but it just wont attempt to turn over. It's acting like its not getting any fuel or something.

I've done some diagnostics of my own, by taking the power commander out of the equation, and making sure that fuel actually is making it into the high pressure fuel line and that none of the fuel lines are cut/crimped, but I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

What sort of things might cause this to happen?

Stop trying to crank it! You may have a hydrolock. Gotta go for a bit call Stevezx9 or Wooody

Robaer... by the phrase "turning over" I assume you mean that the starter is spinning, but the motor's crank won't cycle. If the motor's cranking, then it's turning over, but not starting. Unclear which, the way you wrote it. Either way, call Jay... you'll be happy in the end. Know what I mean?

Ok Rob pull all your plugs and crank it over by hand. Either by turning the rear wheel in gear or with a wrench. If you hydrolock and keep using the starter theres a real good poability of bending a rod. While rare injectors/ floats can hang open. With todays small squish chamber it doesnt take much

I don't understand. The starter is spinning. Is the starter engaging the flywheel? If so, is the motor turning over? If so, the motor is turning over but will not start, correct? I am unsure as to what "cycling" is. Is it not firing at all? What's the year make and model of the bike? Does it have a throttle position sensor?

Is the crank actually moving?

I bet you it is something as simple as your spark plugs. Mine did the same thing and I changed the spark plugs and fired right up after that.

Engine not turning over, starter issue (ie gear wheel not engaging with flywheel). That could be from a couple of things, however, all require the starter removal to do properly. You could just tap the starter with a mallet while trying to start it if the motor gear wheel is stuck. Also, rock the bike forward and backward as well so that the teeth can mesh easily.

If the engine is not turning over than do as stated above. Do not attempt to start the bike. Pull the air box, spark plugs, and voltage supply to the fuel pump and crank the bike over repeatedly to clear the cylinders. Be cautious of fuel spray from cylinders. If that was the case, you may try to reattach everything and start the bike, however, you have a stuck injector (you will know by the richness of the exhaust) do not run the bike or you can drywash the cylinder.
