Thumbs up Found a local Ceramic High Temp coating place. Pics! - January 30, 2010, 03:17 PM

http://www.figureengineering.com/ in Manassas. Nubbs told me about them and then another friend recommended them. My exhaust took me so long to make I didn't want to send it out.

Good prices, quick turnaround, quality work, and you support local people.
Contact len.mccreary@figurellc.com and tell him Ed from Iron Horse sent ya. They do powder coating, CNC, plasma cutting stuff as well.

A few answers.

The color is satin black and it's an ambient cure (non-oven). Most other colors are oven cured.

Cost for me was $20-$25 per foot of tubing. This includes the nasty prep work.

Oh, and for you gun freaks, the coating company has stuff for you:

Build one nicer shovel (S&S) than my buddy Sean's bike and I'll put in a magazine.
