which fuse is it blowing?
With a wiring schematic, isolating and following that circuit shouldn't be too difficult.
I look there first.

As with any electrical troubleshooting be systematic, start at the beginning and don't assume that anything is working correctly until you can verify that it does forwards and backwards.
IE power and/or ground with proper resistance when its supposed to.

I can't count all the time I've wasted chasing electrical gremlins by assuming problems and jumping around and getting ahead of myself.

I find it very helpful to retrace just the circuit that I am focused on so I don't get distracted with others that aren't on the same load, switch or fuse.

lol...y r u postin up on here if the person is on here too....couldn't they just post up? - that's like catching a cab and having them tow your car also.

what is it..prime...start...turn over? so if it's not starting at all...maybe u have a bad starter...?...or relay?

when do the fuses blow?...AFTER you have disconnected the cluster and try to start it?

Is it U8myrice's bike? Check Harness, fuses, have you tried a different battery, on Honda's 600rr and 1krr if the speedo is not attached to the harness bike won't start.

Sigh of relief that I did not take on this project... I hate electrical issues.

I posted the problem up on 600rr.net and havn't gotten a reply yet.

Also:
Gauge cluster doesn't turn on when key is turned. There is plenty of power in the battery (new battery and freshly charged).

Kevin's house is literally a mile away. You live like half an hour away.

Was it the same electrical problem? How did you fix it?
