A DRZ is still more fun. Same weight, but pushing ~35hp to the rear. It's a monster.

two more things going for the DRZ, its NOT a Kawasaki and it doesn't sound like a sewing machine!

Yeah, but that is part of its appeal to me. Everyone laughs at the 250. I mainly got it for the gas savings but if you're on a joke of a bike and end up still kicking ass, its sweeter. I tend to be on things that are extremely slow or extremely fast, not sure why that is really.

And D, say what you want about Kawasaki, but the one thing you can't take away from them is that they don't pull punches when it comes to horsepower. The 250, designed in 1988 isn't exactly cutting edge, however, take a look at the 12R topping the Busa up top upon their respective debuts, the ZX11 vs GSX-R 1100 wars in years prior to that. The 10R and the Gixxer 1k still walk away from Yam and Honda UP TOP in the MPH. Head to head the gixxer walks away initially given its shorter 1st gear and making peak torque starting from lower RPMS, but up top the 10R is RIGHT THERE in terms of peak speed and RWHP. And even now, once again, we have the Busa vs 14 wars all over again. They don't shy away from the fight with Suzuki for kick-ass power whereas Yamaha sticks with pushing the agility edge, and Hondas are generally known for their reliability.

I will admit they aren't exactly Honda in terms of reliability, but as far as that nice SURGE UP TOP, thats what they're about. In the end its all about what gets one's bell end throbbing, innit?

Haha....we need to do some "mellow" roll-ons....her & I, given the weight! Then mild....then moderate...just to see! When she's ready of course. No gear shifting needed for these type of roll-ons until after the roll-off...strictly in the name of science of course!
