i have a 04 gsxr 750 track bike now i noticed the oil was milky when i purchased the bike so i asked the seller he said it was "just condensation run the bike and do a oil change and it will go away!!!" well i did that it didnt go away so i drained the oil dam there was alot of oil mixed with water so my question is is there a way to find out whats wrong besides the obvious blown head gasket????Thanks

I did some poking around on the intertubes, and this could be total B.S. but I read that there are some coolant lines that run to the oil filter.

It's halfway believeable because I've seen this oil cooling technique used on other vehicles.

A headgasket leak will often also leak coolant in to a cylinder. Do you get any white smoke?

What I would do, is pressure test your coolant system. If it holds pressure cold, make sure it holds pressure hot too.

If it won't hold pressure, you can use your eyes and ears to find the leak.

If the oil cooler thing is true, and your leak is there, it should be noticable if you pull off the oil filter.

There aren't many places water can get in your oil. Look through a manual at all the cooling system components, and identify any places that water could get in your oil if a gasket failed, and check them out. I recommend checking in order of least expensive to most expensive.

If you let it freeze without any antifreeze(water/water wetter alone), there are freezeplugs in the head that will pop out. Take a valve cover off and check it.
