So, turns out the rear wheel I bought off ebay is bent. You can't really see it by eye, but when we stuck it on the dyno at Eastern Motorcycles, the entire rear of the bike was hopping around.. you could EASILY see the bend in it while spinning.

So question, is it possible to have someone straighten it? If so, who? How much does it cost? Or should I just suck it up and buy another one?

Call Casey at Fairfax Cycles...703-591-8556. Tell him I sent you and he may be able to bump it up and get it done faster. (I told him I'd send bizznazz when I could)

RIP Greg Walker, I will never forget you

Tom Mackie (626/355-705 can smooth your wheel's new hump.
Mackie charges $45 per wheel plus shipping, and usually turns around repairs within a week.

See the bottom of this article for a paragraph named "Sidebar: Hey, nice hump!" http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_0006_wide/
