food and beverage forum? - January 15, 2009, 06:40 PM

just kinda throwing this one out there...
over the past few weeks I've had a few winter boredom induced "food threads"

I know this site has plenty of off topic (non sportbike) content but...
I figure we all ride, the only other thing that we ALL do on a daily basis is eat.

(well everyone poops, and maybe we need another forum beside the Buell and Kawasaki forums to talk about turds.)

I was thinking it'd be the place for, restaurant reviews, food/drink recipes. That kind of stuff.

I dunno, I guess I'm just hungry and thinking out loud.

Anyone else feelin' me here?

I would also like a "tell me why Jesus is your lord and savior on the bike boards" forum

Toss it in non-sportbike brotha.

I did see him (Jesus) in my toast yesterday morning... kinda food related, and yes totally non-sport bike.

I should be down for this, seeing as it's kinda what I do. You know, brings home the peanuts.

But really....probably just best suited for non-sportbike, me thinks.

yupp gunna wait tables at one of those "Australian" steakhouses...

The job market for a motorcycle mechanic is kinda bleak right now.
My threads are kinda teasers for my "chiefin'" skills

come to Dieder Cycle Werks and you'll leave full and your bike'll be fixed up too!
my new hours are from 11 to 3 ...

If you're capable (and I have a hunch you are), you can make bank banging out tables in a decent turn-n-burn joint

If you're very capable, which is simply more knowledge accompanying the above skills, you could go fine dining and do half the physical work and make triple the money. Especially in the NoVA area.

Skills aside, don't even bother thinking about cooking professionally. You won't make shit....trust me. I'm doing pretty well, but solely due to luck. Having said that, I don't make shit. Execs at huge places make tons, but that's a whole nutha' level.

Best of luck, o' drunken one.
