Gixxer.com uses a black with dark blue.

Statistically the easiest to read is black font on white background. I know this because I was in a website working group for DoS creating standards for sites. Eye fatigue is actually a fairly serious concern.

But actually I don't really give a fuck, sounds good to me, run it by Jeeper.

I find reading light grey text against a black or near-black background to be easiest on my eyes. I'd like to see those colors use more on the net. just my two cents.

Noooooo don't change it!!! I work at Navy Fed and everything here is light greyish blue fading to a darker blue. This color scheme works perfectly for being stealthy. It makes it look like I'm on work stuff.

personally I think the theme needs to be changed so there's even more empty space in posts. This two liner takes up a measely 4" of real estate at 1280x1024 on a 19" monitor. It should be much more than that.

I like the way it looks. Dark is depressing.

I've always found blue text on light grey background the easiest on my eyes...of course, my alien eyes see in near IR, and boy do you all look like a bunch of freaks

Let me point you to the handy Edit Profile feature which lets you disable just about everything, including Avatars, Signatures, Info LInes, and so forth.

And if thats not good enough, feel free to use:

Or just complain more.

Well, the theme is settable in your profile, so you can choose from a multitude of them (If I install them)... so if you find a good, cheap profile, shoot me a link.

And logo / banner donations are ALWAYS accepted. I still need a friggin logo for a T-shirt. (goin on what, 3 years now?)

Yea, but those require me being logged in to be effective.

I'll do ya one better - I'll write some CSS for firefox to use over top of the default stuff to hide the things I don't want

AND

I'll keep complaining. That way I'm doubly happy. Which is kind of like both of us being happy, except not at all.

Rob - do you know if we can use standard VB3.5 styles or does it have to be for vbadvanced?
I'll work up some logo thoughts and PM them to you... pick the one you want to use and i'll give you the vector for print (shirts, stickers, posters, flyers, etc) and the top graphics for the site.

I'd build the theme but im afraid i wouldnt have the time.
