Site Issues - April 21, 2008, 04:44 PM

Since I didn't see a "Site Issues" section I figured I'd throw this in here. I've noticed a couple problems.

1) Sometimes when I get PM's the window letting me know that I got one does not pop up. For instance I just logged back in and I had a PM but it didn't tell me I had one. I just went and checked since I've noticed this issue for a while. I'd say this happens about 50% of the time. I've checked to make sure my system isn't counting the window as a pop up and blocking. I have that feature disabled for this site. Anyone have this issue?

2) Sometimes the DCSportbikes.net logo at the top does not appear. Doesn't seem to matter what system I'm on. Other times it's there but off center. Still other times its there and dead center as it should be.

3) Sometimes when I first open up .net it opens up to an error screen like I used an improper login or something. I have to hit home to get to the sign in screen.

Figured I'd throw these things out there in case anyone has noticed them or experienced them.

I have the same issues with the pop up. It doesn't always do that. I asked Rob and he said to keep the side bar open, it will tell you. I still don't keep mine open so if I get a PM and don't answer, that's why!

Alot of times this is because of browser settings or your page no on constant refresh. I get it from time to time when I use IE the pop-ups don't always come up when I get PM's but it does come up when I use Firefox only because it has an automatic page refresh built in.

Mainly the answer is "its extremely sporatic so diagnosing and fixing the problem is difficult, so until its fixed, keep the side bar open".
