WTB Section? - February 7, 2012, 06:38 PM

How about a WTB section?

The classifieds section is pretty well traveled. If we have stuff we are cleaning out and don't want to make a thread about the 20 items we have for sale and then have to manage all 20, sellers could cruise the WTB section and reach out to potential sellers. It also might clean up the for sale threads with distraction posts.

What say ye, great admins?

or hell, even a WTT section under the classifieds as well. Could spark up some pretty heavy traffic. Good for the numbers!

This was my list -

Workshop

FAQ's / Stickys (How tos, Oil changes, suspension resources blah blah blah
General Tech (everything else tech related)
Build Board (for peoples project bikes race, street, whatever)

Marketplace

Vendor Area (sponsors to post specials, deals, etc - should make your sponsors happy)
For sale (broken into 3 types - bikes for sale, parts for sale, other)
Wanted

Not quite sure how to do this right at first glance, but after the ride, crash and rash, riding tips etc need to be combined somehow

Bomb the brand specific stuff - keep a cruiser and a vintage section to round off the site being generally new sportbike based

Just my suggestions - I think simple is better sometimes and child boards are easy to add of if needed.

These are all good ideas. I really like the bulk build/how to sections as well as the bulk FS/FT/WTB section.
