Good looking merc from the outside.. I just do not like how boring that interior is.

I concur but then again, the audience wasn't "us" when this car was drafted.

Merc sourced it from the bread & butter E-Class, which itself was a model they sold so many units of underpinning the corporate balance sheet, that they kept styling conservative.

It won't excite the senses, but it will not embarrass / confuse / offend anyone either.
