Nicely setup! Sad to see you parting with it man. GLWS.

This bike has been at the top of my list for bikes to buy next year.

I don't have spare funds right now, but I'm curious as to how you liked it, and why you are selling it.

Thanks

FWIW, I now have over 12,000 miles on my 2016 FJ-09 and I absolutely love the bike, easily the best bike I've ever had. Tons of useable power, great sound from the crossplane 3 even with the stock exhaust, which mine still has, decent enough gas mileage (I've averaged 46mpg commuting year round, with a few long distance trips also thrown in there).

Really about the only flaw that anyone complains about is the stock windscreen and some helmet buffeting, but it never bothered me enough to swap it out. Others have complained about the seat, but I've done 8-9 hour days in the saddle on mine and never felt the need to upgrade to something else. Truly an awesome 'do-it-all' bike.

OP, GLWS.

Thanks man.

I have seen a few of these come up for sale lately. So wasn't sure.

I actually love about 90% of it.....
It could use a little more stability at higher speeds, and the front suspension is a little below average.
I put it up for sale just to see....I was going to upgrade to the BMW S1000XR, they 2016 models are marked way down right now, it's essentially a very similar bike with 50+ more horsepower, and better electronics.
Since I've not had any serious bites, I am planning to spend the money for front fork cartridges and keep it.

If the XR was shaft driven, I'd have already bit the bullet and traded in for that. As it stands the FJ really does everything I need it to do. Didn't know there were other FJ owners on here.
