Do your pre-ride maintenance people, regardless of how early it is. I just went out to clean and lube my chain before heading out.

i just pulled it out with a pair of needle nose - busted my damn hand on my license plate though - ouch.

anyway, it was about 2 inches long and i don't think it went all the way through the rubber because of the angle it was at.

I put the bike back on the ground and poured a steady stream of water over the hole and got 0 air bubbles. Then I leaned on the tail to put some pressure on it and did the same and got 0 air bubbles.

i'am go hit some roads around here and see how she fairs.

bt-016's. it was in the part where the compound is thicker, near the center not on the edges where i normally ride

You live more in five minutes on a bike like this going flat out than some people live in a lifetime.

Arent you supposed to wax a chain after riding when its hott so that the rings soak in the lube better and keep them from dry rotting or getting pre mature wear?
