I wish people with Smart cars and Minis would follow some of these guidelines too... either that, or they made some kind of fold-out parking indicator flag that could be extended when parked in a parking space all the way in so that from a distance it looks like the space is empty.

I park in the little lined areas at the end of rows of parking spaces
