Any Aprilia dealers left in the greater DC area??? - September 28, 2012, 12:34 PM

With everything going on trying to get packed up and moved, I haven't had time to get the first service done (or do the oil change myself). And, not knowing how long it will be before I get my garage in order after the move, I want to get the Tuono into a shop for it's first service...

Doing some quick google searching and a few phone calls, it looks like there's one tech at Coleman in Woodbridge that works on euro trash. But, I'm looking for alternatives.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Places to avoid like the plague?

thanks

Stay away from Coleman service department. Take it to RnR or one of the other reputable shops around.

Your only real options are the already mentioned Extreme, the shop in Lynchburg
and there is a shop in PA I don't have any first hand experience with. Unless the bike requires Aprilia-specific tools or being connected to a Navigator, the local shops can handle it.

When my kid was undergoing chemo, I didnt have time to work on my own stuff. Coleman did me just fine. Every shop has horror stories.

I have no problem doing my own routine maintenance... but with the move, I've had to clear out all chemicals and pack all my tools. I was hoping to get this one taken care of, but if it has to wait until I get around to it, then no biggy.
