I was wondering that too.. My (un)educated guess is that he moved it forward for tighter turning/carving. I only say this because I noticed that he was doing more uphill, straight riding before he made the adjustment. Same principal as having a shorter versus longer swing arm I think...

That would be awesome to see more of these things. And yeah, tricks would be much easier. Kinda makes me want to move up North.
