:dunno: I have a three month old s'hawk, and have done all the usual mods except for one, slip on's.I just don't have the money, and it's hard to convince my better half why I need $600 mufflers on a brand new bike.I've considerd a bafflectomy but I'm curious to know if any of you have done this to your s'hawk?were you pleased wth the results?have you ever had a problem getting inspection stickers?(I live in VA),I have never heard bafflectmied cans in person, but I have heard they are way loud,is it cool or just annoying ??

To not.

Just save your hard earned $$ and buy a set of slips. If you remove the baffles, you remove ALL back pressure. This = shitty mileage, running, and more than likely, sound. Even "racing" exhaust has some type of baffling system in it.
