As mentioned before it's still ugly as sin. I also expected a lot more performance upgrades then what they did to this thing. They overhauled the 600RR and half assed this one.

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

BOOSTZX3 : in all seriousness head injuries ain't no joke. I've had around 10 concussions and now I ride a Buell Don't let it happen to you!

Honda never half ass anything!! Honda is in the business of making quality bikes not just for speed but for the everyday rider. Lets wait on the road test and comparison before we count them out.

Compaired to anything "ALL NEW AND IMPROVED" that Honda has done this is crap. Don't get me wrong ... I'm Honda through and through but come on.

I never said it wasn't a good bike, but as far was "get what you pay for" honda falls WAY short... in my mind the honda should be $8999.99 msrp. There's nothing great about the bike besides it dropped a ton of weight and they overhauled the engine and slapped new plastics on it. The HESD is nothing new.

Not saying it isn't a good bike, I almost bought one, but it isn't anything special and it's way over priced. It was half assed. The 1000rr wasn't quite so halfassed but they fucked up major with the body design, one can only prey the performace is mind blowing enough to outweight such horrible design

All the bikes now are over priced. What hurt the six hundred class when they did away with the sevens. Suzuki and Kawaski had sevens class which would keep the sixes at reasonable prices. Now only Suzuki has a legit seven class with the 750.

they raised the prices close to the value of the litrebikes to drive up sales of those units imo

when someone goes to bike a sportbike and they look at an R6 or 600RR that generally have an OTD price of 9500 - 10k and then see the R1 or 1000RR for an OTD price of 10k - 10.5k what will they choose?

Ammo for the stealerships to put a nub behind the controls of the wrong bike.
