Anyone own or ridden the VTX1800?? Likes, Dislikes???

Considering picking it up next spring but being in beautiful sunny Qatar the only thing they have over here is 1000RR's for 13,500 dollars. You say cruiser and they look at you like you have 3 heads. Of course they give you the same look when you ask where all of their store's riding gear is as well. Squids.

Need something to just go ride for awhile. The 600RR is nice, but there's days when you just want to go for awhile.

Any feedback... Anyone...

The VTX is ok. It's very heavy at low speeds but has decent power. Brakes are ok, handling is decent but it decks the controls very easily. After market pipes on the VTX sound like shit. I've heard Bubs, V&H, and Cobra. All sound like ass.
If I was to pony up the cash for a nice power cruiser, I'd look at the Warrior. It's slightly down on power from the VTX but is so much better everywhere else. It also handles really well! I have a friend with an 05 with a set of shorty bubs on it. His bike sounds mean.
