Not just you. It's the reason I'm not a fan of the 1098 styling.
The 999 doesn't look so ubiquitous.

And that settles it ... left over 07' 1000RR for me. That thing is an abonanation to the CBR line. I am normally not so much a looks person but this bike screams UGLY!!

oh what the fuck ever. Everyone will be stumbling over themselves to get this bike if it does as well as the 07 600rr in the mag tests. The 03 GSXR 1000 was hideous, then the 05. Performance makes any bike look good.

Actually, despite being the top performer in tests, at Loudoun Motorsports which sells the big four, the GSXR and R6 were much better sellers. Only the Kawasaki sold worse than the CBR. And looking at the race grids indicates pretty much the same.

Still no HP figures from Honda or Kawi?


Can't choose between the R1 and the 10R so I am keeping both but settled with an 1198S when I came home
