Hey All....

I have a problem. Yesterday when I was messing with my bike and I went to move it and grabbed onto my right rear passenger peg to do so. Today I am out riding and my girl says the peg feels loose. Sure enough, the entire weld was cracked. I had her catch a ride home in someones car and by the time i got home the whole passenger peg( and exhaust) mount was broken off of the bike. The highmount exhaust is now held on by its bottom where it connects to the header.

So... I need to be put in contact with someone that will do a high quality job (hopefully for cheap) and weld the bracket back on. It is going to have to be ground down to get rid of the old welds and then re-welded (if this is even possible).

Does anybody weld?

Matt

I have a friend who used to be a welder. He is saying that if the parts are aluminum it will require a special welder or something? Does anyone know what an 02 f4i subframe is made of? Or what the brackets attached to it are made of?

How do i post the pics I took of the damage?
