Forgive me father for I have sinned....

Here's my newest addition to the race team. Ain't she a beaut?

She's an '01 RC-51 that was looped. Needs plastic (read race bodywork), a subframe and gauges (read tach and lap timer). I picked her up for $3000 so I couldn't resist. Looks like I'll be chasing (read passing) Shawn even in the Heavy Twins classes now.
BTW, before you Honda guys get too excited, it's going to get a good coat of Yamaha blue paint! That should make it faster!

SCHWEET deal!
I'm sure it will be fast even before the blue paint treatment!

Don't worry, Stef one way or another an RC will be going to Barber.
You're gonna have to try a little harder than this if you want to keep things a secret!!! :o Admit it, you wanted everyone to know that now you have a nice ride!!! Hell, you could probably take it to the track as is, and still put the Yammies to shame!!

Actually, I will be very interest to hear what you think of the RC after you have a chance to wring its neck!!

So is this the company I'll be keeping with an RC?

No wonder I have several Yamis and only one RC. Looks like the dragon won that time.

I don't think there is an explanation for Stef! :o

So, now that I am a (reluctant) Honda owner, do I have to be nice to other Honda owners?

Don't worry, it'll come with time! It's a steady evolution, similar to the progression you've made with bikes.

Here's a chart for you, since you're not quite there yet.

Harley - Moronic
Kawasaki - Confused
Yamaha - Pompous
Honda - Nice

Yeah, I agree!
I'll be sure to pass on your sentiments about the Harleys being moronic to the local Renegade's meeting next week! See ya there!
When I was on my Kawis I was confused why the Honda guys couldn't keep up. You know what I mean dontcha Dave?
As far as the pompous Yamaha thing goes, well...don't hate them because they're beautiful, hate them becasue they're beautiful and they're faster than you!
Now, I don't know about the nice with the Hondas. It hasn't changed me! Might make me a little slower but that all.

...and...

Umm, where does the pocketbike fit into all this?
