what have I done?

Good to see that a bunch of .net peeps will be joining me

Now we really need to figure something out with All-Sport...the amount of people we have now should allow us to have events relatively cheap

Not a problem at all everyone!!! Definitely glad you all finally got your bikes! Hopefully everything went off without a hitch today. Be sure to go over everything on the bikes before riding them. Here are some lessons learned from the 1st go 'round:

1. Bleed and fill brakes (front and rear).
2. Tighten down front forks.
3. Heat cycle and change oil!!!! (change oil, run bike at idle to temp, let cool down, change oil, repeat two more times, and change oil one final time).
4. Opening the carbs up and spraying them with some cleaner may help some
5. Be careful not to lose the hose on the fuel cap. The o-ring on the underside has a tendency to come loose (I think we all had that problem. In fact one bike didnt even have one. Just make sure its nice and snug).
5. Air up tires.
6. Make sure no lines or hoses are kinked!!!! I missed a breather hose on Sharon's bike and blew a seal at Allsports this past sunday.
7. Ride a little while and go over all the nuts and bolts to make sure nothing has vibrated loose.
9. For those changing plastics...there are two bolts in the rear under the tail section. Behind those you will find two spacers glued to the subframe. These will probably fall off. If they do, dont worry about it. You dont need them.
10. The cheap peg mounts will most likely bend for most of you. I think Nate and I bent ours within the 1st 15 mins of riding. Nate bent his so bad that they actually bent his brake lever and his rear was locked up. Definitely look into getting some chromoly peg mounts. Outlaw can get you a great price if you mention you were part of the group buy.
11. Dont let the small size of these bikes or the fact that they are 4 strokes fool you. They arent torque monsters, but the front WILL come up fast in 1st and 2nd if you dump that clutch.

Thats all I can think of.

My barns neighbor has a track set up in their yard (yard being a good 10 acres). I am in the slow process of getting to know them better. We also have another track on one of the routes we ride. I'll stop by and see if I can introduce myself, possibly bat the eyes and throw Karli to the rednecks to see if we can get access.
