RIDE- Indoor Mini-moto review and info - November 7, 2010, 07:31 PM

I just got back from RIDE in Elkton VA. It's an indoor mini-moto facility like Allsports...I know its been posted here before. It a tighter, smaller track than Allsports with similar grip level, maybe a little less.

I had a blast and am extremely sore today. I rode a 150f, ttr125, ttr90, and a crf50. The smaller bikes (50 and 90) you can ride knee down and teeter right on the edge of traction. I had so much fun on the little bikes I bought a ttr90 today. It's funny how similar it is to roadracing...searching for traction entering and exiting. I must have crashed 25 times figuring it out.

Its also awesome riding the 150f supermoto style and steering with the rear on such a tight track.

Brent is the owner and is a super nice guy...he is an ex-road racer and cornerspeed and corner spin instructor. I know he opened this place simply because of his passion for two wheels. I hope you guys make the trip to support places like this to keep our sport going, esp through the winter months.

Ill be there every weekend I can make it...if not every weekend during the winter. And if you get a small group, 6+ people...I think Brent can open the place up for you if you give him enough notice for a specific date.

Its also affordable, for hours of riding...and only a little more to ride some other bikes. It's a way to ride through the winter season, learn where the edge of traction is, stay in riding shape, and have a blast.

See you there!

Yup this is a great place to ride. Also if you have a kid or SO who wants to learn this is a great place. I plan on having my kid down there getting some track time.
