Time for some upgrades! - March 16, 2009, 09:12 PM

Got my taxes done and putting an order in with Vince at Tbolt...

YX 150cc Engine (Daytona Style):
Bore: 56.4mm
Stroke:59mm
Displacment:149cc
Gears:4 speed ,bottom neutral 4 up shifting
oil cooler
VM26 Mikuni Carb

FMF SS Exhaust:

Red Baron Mini Bars:

Red Baron Billet Throttle:

Already have the HD Peg Mounts and chain guide. Just need to decide on tires.

Shoulda just bought a OGM Pro to begin with! What fun would that be though?

I doubt it will be ready for the 22nd, which sucks because I had a blast last time. Considering Nate will have the engine that's in the bike now pulled and in HIS bike...I would have to push mine around the track

Just got off the phone with tbot. Great customer service. They said everything should be here in about a week:

YX 150cc Engine
26mm Mikuni Carb w/ Trailbike Foam Filter
Red Barron Mini MX Bars
Red Barron Billet Throttle
FMF Exhaust

Just waiting to hear back from Staggs about the 10" front wheel so I can order the tires and Ill be in good shape! Thanks to Nate (Nudist) for all his help so far. Sorry brother, but we're not done just yet

Oh, and tbolt gave me free shipping and 5% off the entire order. Good guys over there!

Aside from having fun at Allsports, I cant say I race either one. My fiancee (BoomChic) and I got a couple when we organized a group buy here on the site. Since then we sold one and Im building the other one up just to have fun and dick around. I'd love to get it out on a nice dirt track sometime if you have some spots and dont mind me tagging along! I could definitely use some helpful advice and riding tips too.

Everything is in. Just got the throttle from Red Baron today. Havent started the mods yet. The bike is in Nate's garage (minus the stock 125 Jailing). Soon though. Soon. Right Nate!? Hahaha!

Well, started getting the bike together today. Didnt make too much progress though. Things were going great until Nate had to open his big mouth. He said, "I still think something is going to go wrong. It always does." Not more than two minutes later we realize that the front sprocket is the wrong pitch so the chain wont line up. I still blame Nate

Oh, and there was no oil cooler with the engine so...back to T-Bolt...again.
