Count me in for Monday if the weather is good. I will go Sunday if the weather is good on Sunday but bad on Monday.

I need one final track fix for the season.

Oh, and look for the new tow vehicle, a Touareg TDI in black. Nothing like pulling a $500 trailer with a rig that costs 100x that. New enclosed trailer coming next year.

If it's not raining and the high is 60+, I'm in for Sunday. Not to get everyone's hopes up but the wildly inaccurrate 10 day forecast is lookin good.

New Touareg or the old nasty V10 TDI ? I've always wanted one of the V10 ones...553 ft.-lbs of torque sounds fun

Brand new 2013 TDI Lux, with the factory tow hitch rated for 7700lb towing. The engine has no problem with that, but I have heard the butt will be dragging if you put the full 770lb tongue weight on it. They have an 8 speed transmission as of 2012 that helps mileage. The V10 torque sounds fun, but the new one is rated at 20 city, 29 highway and reportedly will get up to 18 pulling a 20' travel trailer. It still has 406lb-ft of twist. The V10 was rated at 15/20. The available air springs on the older ones are nice for towing, but I am not planning on towing anything bigger than maybe a 6x10 or 6x12 enclosed trailer for track days so this will be more than capable.

If you promise not to run around in a towel and are capable of keeping your dog from humping anything within thrusting distance, I will bring the seeeazonnnning.
