TPM @ NCBike 08/26 - August 27, 2017, 03:00 PM

Did 5 sessions before my friend crashed and we left early for the day.

Finally got my knee down! Theres a gteat feeling of accomplishment.

I'd like to get my racing license soon and start competing in events. Think that'll be another level of fun.

Pictures to come...

Well done. I went on Sunday and also got my knee down for the first time. I'd never been to NCBIKE before. It's like one sweeper after another. Feels artificial compared to Summit and VIR (because it is) but it's still a lot of fun.

Also fuck the stupid loose gravel lot. I'd never been to a place that doesn't have a paved paddock. Hell, I'd settle for packed gravel, but not that loose driveway shit.

Should have posted up, I would have been down to ride together!

NCBike is nice but having some elevation change would spice it up.

you have pics or vids of your time there?

I took the trip sort of last minute. Was actually planning to go to NJMP but it was full.

Here are my pics:

One day I'll find a windshield that isn't tinted, so no video for me. Maybe I could run without one on NCBIKE. There was a new FZ-09 there without one and he said it was ok. I went without one on Summit Main and the speeds reached at the end of the straight were too brutal on my neck without a windshield.

That suit is fresh.

Really? I didnt think the wind buffeting was bad on the speed triple in full tuck. But that was awhile back, the windshield has spoiled me.

I've done 7 or 8 track days in it. It doesn't seem to get dirty at all. I guess a good crash would help. Or I could go all hipster and rub dirt and shoe polish in it for some extra track cred.
