Buell determined to finish a race - June 1, 2006, 11:49 AM

The XBRR will give it another go this weekend at Road America

The release mentions that Mike Hale tested at Summit Point last week. I wonder if that was over the ASRA weekend or a private test?

He was out there while I was at the TPM trackday, I heard he blew a motor and took out like 2 guys in the process. Not sure if it was Hale, it was a giant trailer sponsored by Millwood Harley from NJ.

I did see an RR at SUmmit this weekend. I was going out for practice and saw a suited up guy riding it through the pits.

I'm bored today and feel like a little bashing. I only have time to hit the low hanging fruit though.

The mags want the Buell because they want the money from all those Harley yuppies. What they don't get is those guys are never going to get into racing.

Look they updated it

While testing at Summit Point Raceway, the oil filter was blow off Hales Buell, causing an oil leak and a high-speed crash.

Im real sore, Hale told Roadracingworld.com. I tumbled for a long time. I broke some bones in my right foot, and I bruised my ribs and my back on the right side.

Although his XB-RR has been repaired and he has also received another XB-RR -- the first one off the production line, Hale said he did not know if he would be able to race this weekend or not.

Hey, LZ told me your bike is looking tight. Don't wreck it at Deals Gap before I get to see it.

Cool

I didn't see M Hale on the practice time sheets for today so I guess he's too busted up to ride.
