I dont like buellboy anymore then anyone else here but 5th is pretty impressive in the 200 or any ama race. especially considering it wasnt one of the factory team bikes, Shawn Higbee is a test rider for Buell but it was basically a privateer effort I believe.

I think Yama. is going to be the bike to beat this year. Look at what Spies done in second race on WSB I don't care for him but he took it to them.

While the Austrian Rotax is nearly 2x as big as the other motors on in the top 5 finishers, not a bad show. Eslick did make up the lost time.
Anyone who has been to the track knows that duct tape, zip- ties and super glue are your best friend. However, unlike Buell, they are usually only needed AFTER a crash.

why was it racing against the 600s and not liters?

A question I have often asked myself, sense I figured on here I would only get biased opinions.
The 1125 is around 145hp and 70 tq, definitely more in line with a stock 150hp 70tq liter bike than a 600. At least in stock form anyway.
Does this racing class of 600's put out that much power?
Then you get into straight line top end speed, the 1125 won't match the liters here.
The 1125 has the upper hand on cornering with the higher tq reading than the 600's.
To me there is no class really made for them and will either be over powered for 1 class yet have a huge disadvantage in another.
