Buell friendly dealers? - October 19, 2012, 03:21 PM

Are there any buell friendly dealers in the dc area? I was just at HD of washington dc trying to pick up a few small parts but they basically don't support buell any more. They were friendly and tried to help but said they don't have the buell books any more so they can't look up part numbers. I was looking for the primary inspection cover gasket and clutch derby cover o ring but nobody was sure if they were the same parts for the xb and sportsters.

Are there any dealers in the area that still support buell or am I reduced to looking up my own part numbers?

+1 for Americansportbike.com and Ironmachine.com

LOCALLY You can't beat Battley Cycles in Rockville. They have always had what I needed, are nice as shit, knowledgable. Can't go wrong with them. Maryland Motorcycles, BMW, Bimota, Ducati, Yamaha Scooters/Generators, Harley-Davidson, Battley Cycles, Battley Harley-Davidson Gaithersburg, MD 20879

I second the Battley recommendation. Its not one of the cookie cutter HD stealerships that sprang up in the last decade. Really though, you can go to any Harley dealership for parts as long as they're still available.

I'm pretty sure Rick at RnR worked on Buells for a while since he was racing them for a year or two.
