Growth percentile is skewed when total sales are less than 4% of the sales of each of the Big Four.

I'd be more interested in seeing whether the 1125R is meeting its sales projections. I would guess that the answer is no. I want Buell to do well, but the 1125R was introduced and then...there was a whole lot of nothing. Where was the marketing?

Just like the 1125CR. It came out with a whimper, not a bang. Who's running the PR over there?

Buell needs an inline four. That twin shyute ain't gonna cut it. I mean, even BMW knows this. Only the Italians can get away with it.

Only problem is if Buell actually ever gets a 4 into production, it'll probably seize and kill people. But if they get it done and make a safe bike with a 4, they may actually grab a bigger market share. I would love to support a domestic maker if one would show up to the game and not be so disappointing.

So you have ridden the 1125R to its max and it was just too slow?

I'd be happy on a GS500 or an SV650, neither of which are too slow for me personally since I'm not a top speed junky. Marketing is a very different thing, however. The "big four" all have nice inline fours. To grab more of that market share, guess what Buell will have to do. Why do you think BMW developed an inline four? They could make a boxer twin plenty fast enough for the supersport but people don't want it.

Buell does not need an inline four. V engine are very torque and for people that like to bikes with a instant power intead of waiting to 6000 rpm the inline does not cut it.
ducati is whipping all the inlines. so do your homework before opening your yap
