Long live Buell. Hopefully companies like http://www.americansportbike.com/ will keep us stocked with cool parts.

A few days ago I got a set of race pegs from American Sportbike. Made by LSL (insert nice comments).
I received great service and I didn't throw in the "I write for mag so hook me up" crap.

Half the weight, smaller, and very snazzy. I bought one of their triple trees a few years back. Yummy good stuff.

Old HD pegs vs new

Very very sharp. Think metal file.

Hand and foot controls are part of your connection with your bike. Get the good stuff.

There's other Buellers on .net?!?!?!?!?! Noice. Badweb will never die and Al at ASB will keep us stocked. As soon as I can afford an 1125R or another Firebolt I'm getting it.

Yep, love BWB. I got my primary cover gasket from eBay, a seal and o ring from ASB, and I didn't have to "bother" the HD dealership.

Everytime I order from ASB I tell em please make sure none of this goes to those commies at HD (no offense to Steve and Gene haha). BWB classifieds is great..where I got my 9R at. Ebay and craigslist have some good deals too.

nunya Buell as a mass-produced brand may be out, but from a racing and performance perspective they are still very much around.

Eric is actively supporting racers and race efforts all across the country and the globe. He is still developing the 1145R and the 1125 to be competitive with modern day sportbikes and it doesn't look like he is quitting anytime soon. There are even a few rumors of a Buell on the AMA SBK grid this year. The Buell support from Eric for racers has always been second to none, I know a few racers who plod those things around and they have never mentioned anything bad about the support structure the brand had in the paddock.

I hope they come back around.

and he's already cut his first deal with Pegasus race Team in Germany.

Two 1190RR-Bs with which the Pegasus Race Team will compete in the European Sound of Thunder series.

Erik Buell: We are very happy that Pegasus will be campaigning the new 1190RR-Bs. I know the team very well and am impressed by their organization. Which means I have high expectations for the upcoming season"

"We have really worked hard these past months to get these engines race ready. We also spent some time getting the shop ready. Now that we have everything all set it is time to focus on the delivery of race engines and the associated parts'
