Unhappy Crazy meth-induced Buell primary work. - January 25, 2010, 06:47 AM

Some nut job removes a Buell primary, scrapes off old gasket, installs a new shifter seal and upgrades the chain tensioner in under four minutes. Amazing stuff.

For those that turn wrenches and/or hate HD/Buell, you gotta hit this. I'm pretty sure this guy rules.

Dayum dude, yup that's methhead fast. Does that make shifting any smoother/better? My buddys ZX6R is so much easier and smoother to shift than my Firebolt, was hoping to improve on that.

Nope. It just stops the bike from marking its spot. New gaskets are good.

The plate on the new tensioner is mucho thick.

eh, the clip has been sped up, so I don't really think it's under 4 minutes. But I do give him props for being pretty quick. Still, ask Dodge131 how fast he was when he had to adjust the clutch cable after he put in a altenator in Rick's Buell right before a race while the engine was butt-effing hot. !!

Well, shiat, if that was your attempt to be funny by saying it was under 4 minutes, it was lost on me. Sorry... probably my blond hair.

Buell meth heads are funny regardless of your hair color, time lapse photos, slow KTM riders (Mike) and the like.

For those pesky gaskets that will never stay in place during reassembly, try some engine assembly lube. Many companies make it.

Worked like a charm when I put the primary cover back on.
